What is AeroSched?

Every flying school, charter operation or aircraft partnership has the same problem: how to best manage the scheduling of aircraft and pilots, instructors, simulators and briefing rooms?

Most operators, for the lack of time or resources, tend to use the same kind of solution: either a paper grid, a spreadsheet, or a blackboard to register the schedule of their aircraft and pilots.

The person in charge of the booking is literally rooted to his/her desk to answer the phone and make changes. Or worse, in a flying school, instructors are interrupted to answer the phone, which reduces the quality of their work. We have all seen and lived this exact situation.

The simple fact that the information is accessible only to one person at a time in one physical location creates numerous problems:

  • access to the schedule,
  • time lost answering booking related calls,
  • errors and "unexpected" changes,
  • confidentiality of information,
  • costs, maintenance and flexibility.
